专利说明:

The invention relates to a fairing for a bogie of an articulated rail vehicle. The invention also relates to an articulated rail vehicle comprising a bogie provided with such a fairing.
Railway vehicles are known, such as passenger trains and high speed, the bogies are each provided with a fairing, which improves the aerodynamic properties of the vehicle. Each fairing typically comprises a bottom wall and side walls, generally rigid, which cover at least a lower portion of the bogie with which it is associated. In particular, this makes it possible to limit the disturbances of the flow of air flowing under the railway vehicle when the latter moves at a high speed. The operational performance of the vehicle is thus improved.
These known fairings, however, have the disadvantage of not being compatible with articulated railway vehicles in which bogies are located at the joints, between boxes of this vehicle. This is for example the case of Jacobs type bogies. For example, a bogie is located at an articulation between the first and second boxes of the vehicle, so that each of these first and second boxes rests at least partly on the bogie. In this case, the stiffness of the fairing prevents the movements of the boxes relative to each other at the joint when the vehicle moves. It is these drawbacks that the invention intends to remedy more particularly, by proposing a fairing for a bogie of an articulated railway vehicle which can be used with bogies placed at the articulation between the boxes of the rail vehicle. For this purpose, the invention relates to a fairing for a bogie of an articulated railway vehicle, this fairing comprising: - a bottom wall and side walls able to surround at least a lower part of a bogie, and - first and second anchor zones each adapted to be fixed at one end, respectively, of a first body and a second body of a rail vehicle articulated with respect to each other, in a configuration where these first and second crates rest at least partly on the bogie.
The fairing comprises a flexible connection which mechanically connects the first anchoring zone and the second anchoring zone and which allows a displacement of these first and second anchoring zones relative to one another.
Thanks to the invention, the flexible connection allows the movement of the first anchoring zone of the fairing fixed to the first body relative to the second anchoring zone of the fairing fixed to the second body of the vehicle. The first and second boxes can move relative to each other, during operation of the vehicle and without damaging or being hindered in their movement by the fairing.
According to advantageous but non-mandatory aspects of the invention, such a fairing may incorporate one or more of the following features, taken in any technically permissible combination: The flexible connector comprises an elastomeric material, preferably in the form of a block or strip. - The fairing is fixed without degree of freedom to the bogie, the first and second anchoring zones are formed directly on the flexible connector and the flexible connector extends on peripheral portions of the fairing. - The fairing is shared between a central portion fixed to the bogie, and first and second peripheral portions, the first and second anchoring zones are formed on the first and second peripheral portions and the flexible connector extends between the central portion and each of the first and second peripheral portions and connects the central portion to each of the first and second peripheral portions. - The fairing is divided into a front portion and a rear portion, the first and second anchoring zones are formed on the first and second portions and the flexible coupling extends between the front and rear portions and connects these front and rear portions. between them. - The fairing is made of a rigid material, such as metal or a composite material or Kevlar. - The fairing has openings allowing the passage of elements of the bogie. - The flexible connector is attached to the fairing by means of through fasteners, such as bolts. - The flexible connection is fixed to the fairing by clamping, for example by means of a jaw formed on the fairing.
According to another aspect, the invention also relates to an articulated railway vehicle comprising: - first and second boxes articulated relative to each other, - a bogie on which rest at least partly the first and second boxes, - a bogie fairing, comprising: o a bottom wall and side walls surrounding at least a lower portion of the bogie, and o anchoring zones, each attached to one end, respectively, of the first body and the second body , these first and second boxes resting at least partly on the bogie.
The fairing of this vehicle is made according to the invention. The invention will be better understood and other advantages thereof will emerge more clearly in the light of the description which follows, of an embodiment of a bogie fairing of an articulated railway vehicle, given solely to As an example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows schematically, in a perspective view, a portion of an articulated rail vehicle comprising a bogie provided with a fairing according to the invention; - Figures 2, 3 and 4 show schematically, in a perspective view, a fairing respectively conforming to first, second and third embodiments of the invention.
FIG. 1 represents a partial view of an articulated railway vehicle 1. In this example, this vehicle 1 is a train of a high-speed train. The vehicle 1 is able to run on a railway, not shown, which extends essentially along a horizontal plane.
The vehicle 1 comprises a plurality of boxes, articulated with respect to each other to form a body of the vehicle 1. These boxes are here able to receive passengers of the vehicle 1 and constitute railway cars in the case where the railway vehicle 1 is a train. These boxes are essentially aligned with each other along a longitudinal axis X1 of the vehicle 1. To simplify Figure 1, only two boxes 10 and 12 are illustrated. In this description, the terms "forward" and "backward" are defined with respect to the axis X1.
Boxes 10 and 12 are connected together at end ends respectively denoted 11 and 13 by a hinge 14. The respective end ends 11 and 13 of boxes 10 and 12 face each other when the boxes 10 and 12 are mounted articulated on the bogie 2. The hinge 14 here comprises a hinge bellows 15 and a hinge mechanism 16.
In known manner, the hinge bellows 15 communicates the interior of the boxes 10 and 12.
The hinge mechanism 16 mechanically connects the boxes 10 and 12 and allows their displacement relative to each other. The mechanism 16 allows in particular a limited lateral displacement of the boxes 10 and 12 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and parallel to the plane of the track. The mechanism 16 also allows a rotation of the boxes 10 and 12 relative to each other about an axis of rotation perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and extending here in a substantially vertical direction.
The vehicle 1 further comprises several bogies 2 which each comprise wheels 20 configured to roll on the railway and which are connected to their respective bogie 2 by means of axles 21. For example, the bogie 2 is a bogie Jacobs type .
The bogie 2 is fixed to the boxes 10 and 12, for example by means of the articulation mechanism 16. Here, the body 10 is located at the front of the bogie 2, and the body 12 is located at the rear of the bogie 2. bogie 2.
In this example, at least a portion of the boxes 10 and 12 is based on the bogie 2. By "rests at least in part" here means that at least 20%, preferably at least 40%, of the weight of each body 10, 12 is exerted on the bogie 2.
The vehicle 1 further comprises a fairing 3 protecting the bogie 2. As illustrated in Figure 2, the fairing 3 comprises a bottom wall 30 and side walls 31. The fairing 3 surrounds at least partially a lower portion of the bogie 2 when in a mounted configuration on the bogie 2.
The bottom wall 30 has a substantially planar shape and extends along a longitudinal axis X3 of the fairing 3. The longitudinal axis X3 is parallel to the longitudinal axis X1 when the fairing 3 is in a configuration mounted on the bogie 2. The bottom wall 30 is shaped to be placed under a lower face of the bogie 2. For this purpose, the bottom wall 30 is provided with openings 32, 34 allowing the passage of the wheels 20 and / or other mechanical members of the vehicle. bogie 2.
The side walls 31 extend substantially vertically upwards from the bottom wall 30. The side walls 31 extend longitudinally substantially parallel to the axis X3. Here, the side walls 31 comprise openings 33 and 35, to allow, for example, the passage of the ends of the axles 21 or other mechanical members that laterally exceed the bogie 2.
The side walls 31 are here integral with the bottom wall 30 and form a piece in one piece. For example, the fairing 3 has a substantially U-shaped cross section, this cross section being defined perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis X 3 of the fairing 3.
The side walls 31 are advantageously shaped to fit the shape of the bottom of the boxes 10 and 12. Preferably, the side walls 31 are also shaped to register in the extension of the outer side walls of the boxes 10 and 12 when the fairing 3 is mounted on the bogie 2. For example, the boxes 10 and 12 have recesses of complementary shapes to those of the walls 31, so that the shroud 3 does not generate significant excess width compared to the boxes 10 and 12 at the the articulation, as this would be detrimental to the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle 1.
Preferably, the fairing 3 is made of a rigid material, such as metal. Alternatively, the fairing 3 comprises a composite material or Kevlar (trademark) or a high-strength glass or a transparent plastic material. Thus, the fairing 3 also plays a role of mechanical protection of the bogie 2, for example against ballast projections when the vehicle 1 is traveling at a high speed.
The fairing 3 further comprises anchoring zones 51, 52. The anchoring zone 51 is intended to be fixed on the end 11 of the body 10. The anchoring zone 52 is intended to be fixed to the end 13 of the body 12. Each of the anchoring zones 51 and 52 receives attachment systems 41 which secure the fairing 3 to the boxes 10 and 12, as explained in more detail in the following.
The fairing 3 further comprises a flexible connection 4 which mechanically connects the anchoring zone 51 to the anchoring zone 52 and which allows these anchoring zones 51 and 52 to move relative to one another, for example when the boxes 10 and 12 move relative to each other through the hinge 14. Here, the connector 4 comprises an elastomeric material, such as the material used for the realization of "silent-blocks" .
By "flexible" is meant that the connection 4 has a lower rigidity than that of the fairing 3. For example, the Young's modulus of the shroud 3 is 10 times greater, preferably a hundred times greater, more preferably five hundred times greater than the Young's modulus of connection 4.
In this example, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the connection 4 is in the form of two strips 4A and 4B arranged on an outer periphery of the fairing 3. Here, the band 4A extends on peripheral outer edges of the lateral walls. 31 and the bottom wall 30 formed on a rear portion of the fairing 3. This rear part of the fairing 3 is here oriented towards the end 13 of the body 12. Similarly, the strip 4B extends along the edges outside of the bottom wall 30 and the side walls 31 formed on a front portion of the fairing 3. This front part of the fairing 3 is here oriented towards the end 11 of the body 10. Alternatively, the strips 4A and 4B are replaced by a single band which extends over the entire periphery of the edge of the fairing 3.
The connector 4 is attached to the fairing by a fastening system 40. For example, the fastening system 40 has through fasteners, such as bolts. The material forming the connection 4 is provided with a through hole through which is inserted a bolt fixed on a portion of the fairing 3 provided with a corresponding bore.
Alternatively, the connector 4 is fixed to the shroud 3 by clamping. For example, the system 40 comprises a jaw formed on the fairing 3 and shaped to tighten and immobilize the coupling 4.
Preferably, the fastening system 40 is reversible and allows disassembly of the connector 4 with respect to the fairing 3, which facilitates maintenance operations and / or replacement of the fairing 3.
In this example, the bottom wall 30 is fixed directly and without degree of freedom to the bogie 2, not shown in Figure 2. The anchoring zone 51 is formed by the band 4B of the connector 4. Similarly, the Anchoring zone 52 is formed by the band 4A of the coupling 4. The anchoring zones 51 and 52 are here each provided with a fastening system 41, which ensures their attachment to the boxes 10, 12. This system fastener 41 is here analogous to fastening system 40.
Thus, the connection 4 mechanically connects the anchoring zones 51 and 52 indirectly via the bottom wall 30 and the side walls 31.
Figures 3 and 4 show second and third embodiments of the fairing 3. In Figures 3 and 4, the elements similar to those of the fairing 3 of Figures 1 and 2 have the same references and are not described in more detail.
Figure 3 shows a fairing 3 'according to another embodiment of the invention. The shroud 3 'is divided between a central portion 60, which is fixed without degree of freedom to the bogie 2, and peripheral portions 61, 62, 63 and 64. Here, the central portion 60 comprises the bottom wall and a part of the side walls 31. The peripheral portions 61, 62, 63 and 64 form another part of the side walls 31. More specifically, the peripheral portions 61, 62 are arranged on the lateral flanks on either side of the wall of the wall. bottom 30 of the same front side of the fairing 3 '. The peripheral portions 61 and 62 each carry an anchoring zone 65 which is turned towards the end 11 of the body 10 to fix integrally without degree of freedom these peripheral parts 61 and 62 to the body 10. The anchoring zones 65 play the same role, vis-à-vis the fairing 3 ', as the anchoring zone 51 of the shroud 3. Here, the anchoring zones 65 are formed by the peripheral portions 61 and 62. The box 10 is fixed these peripheral portions 61 and 62. The fastening system 41 is not necessarily here identical to the fastening system 40.
Similarly, the peripheral portions 63 and 64 are disposed on either side of the bottom wall 30 and on a rear side of the fairing 3 'and are thus opposed to the peripheral portions 61 and 62. The peripheral portions 63 and 64 each comprise an anchoring zone 66 which is turned towards the end 13 of the body 12. The anchoring zones 66 play the same role, vis-à-vis the fairing 3 ', as the anchoring zone 52 of the 3. The anchoring zones 66 are formed by the peripheral portions 63 and 64. The front and the rear of the fairing 3 'are here defined in the same way as for the fairing 3.
The connection 4 here comprises a first portion 4C, and a second portion 4D. The first portion 4C connects the central portion 60 to the peripheral portions 61 and 63. For example, the portion 4C is in the form of a strip or a block that extends longitudinally along one side of the fairing 3 'essentially parallel to the axis X3. Similarly, the peripheral portions 62 and 64 are connected to the central portion 60 via the portion 4D of the connector 4. Similarly, the connector 4D is in the form of a strip of a block which is extends along one side of the fairing 3 'opposite the side on which the portion 4C extends substantially parallel to the axis X3.
Alternatively, each portion 4C or 4D is divided into two distinct sub-parts, one connecting only the peripheral portion 61 or 62 to the central portion 60 and the other connecting only the peripheral portion 63 or 64 to the central portion 60 .
Figure 4 shows a fairing 3 "according to another embodiment of the invention. This fairing 3 "has a shape similar to the fairing 3. More precisely, the fairing 3" is divided into portions 81 and 82, respectively front and rear, forming for example two equivalent halves of the fairing 3 '. The front and the rear of the fairing 3 "are here defined in the same way as for the fairing 3.
The connector 4 extends between the portions 81 and 82 along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X3 and connects these portions to one another. The portions 81 and 82 are each held at the connection 4 by the fastening system 40. The portion 81 has a bottom wall 86 and the portion 82 has a bottom wall 85 which together form the bottom wall 30 of the fairing 3 " . The front portion 81 includes the anchoring zone 83 at the body 10. This anchoring zone 83 plays, with respect to the fairing 3 ", the same role as the anchoring zone 51 with respect to the 3. Similarly, the rear portion 82 has an anchoring zone 84 to the body 12, this anchoring zone 84 playing the same role vis-à-vis the fairing 3 "as the anchoring zone 52.
The embodiments and alternatives contemplated above may be combined with one another to generate new embodiments.
